Just For The Fun Of It

Our thanks to everyone that came out in support of the league at our annual Five Guys Dine and Make a Difference event last night. We will publish the totals once they are in but we want to thank all that attended the event, and especially the Five Guys in store staff and the Leadership group both locally and at their head office for continuing to host this event every year, and especially for believing in what we do for the children in the community. Once we have the totals from last night we will get them published.

Tomorrow, Wednesday October 15th is our Dine and Make a Difference Event at Five Guys Burgers and Fries on Gardiners Road! From %;00 until 8:30 pm $1 from every burger, poutine and milkshake sold will come back to the league. We hope you will support this chance to enjoy some delicious food and make a difference in the lives of our players and their families. On behalf of everyone involved in making the Pete Petersen Basketball League happen, I want to wish all of the members of the league family, both past and present, a very happy Thanksgiving. I hope that you have had the chance to enjoy the company of friends and family this weekend, and to remember how important memories that make you smile are. Savour those memories.

We are forever thankful to all in the league family for believing in us and for sharing this journey together since Don Petersen opened the doors and St. Pat’s and invited the children in his neighbourhood in to enjoy some basketball together.

One week from today, Wednesday October 15 is our annual Dine and Make a Difference Event at Five Guys Burgers and Fries on Gardiners Road. This marks the 10th Anniversary of our partnership with Five Guys and we are thrilled to be joining them again for this event.
On October 15th from 5pm until 8:30 pm, Five Guys Burgers and fries will donate $1 from every burger, poutine and milkshake sold to our program.

If you have been thinking about ordering some of the clothing items from our On Line Store through Acme Sport and Promotion Time is running out! The store closes October 13. Ordering is simple and the selection of items reflects what you have asked us to have available in the past.

As we start to wind down T shirt Sales for this season, we wanted to remind you of the last dates to buy or order T shirts for this season. If we do not have your size we will take your special order and we will be placing a second order of those requests October 21st that we will have by mid November.
