Today we received two significant donations from Terry Fraser and his family. the first was an electric air pump for us to use for inflating our basketballs, and the second was a substantial financial donation to our program. The following note was enclosed with the donations.
“The Pete Petersen Basketball League makes a significant difference in the lives of the players, providing memories to last a lifetime. The gym is a magical place, and a family place. I have personally seen how much the league means to the boys and girls who attend.
Our children and grandchildren have experienced the fun, encouragement, welcoming and inclusiveness of the league, and its volunteers. I have been proud to be involved in the past as a volunteer for over forty years, as well as a previous member of the executive.
The league continues to provide an affordable, safe and fun environment for kids. My family and I are so proud to have been a part of the experience, and the memories will be cherished. “Just For the Fun of it” is such an appropriate motto for the league!
Please accept this donation to the Pete Petersen Basketball League to assist the league in continuing to make a difference in the lives of players and their families.

Terry and his family represent three generations of involvement with the league that Pete started 71 years ago. Their belief in what we do for the children in the community has never wavered as Terry says, for more than forty years.
