We had the annual Sneaker Draw last night and prize winners will be notified today. For winners from the Graduate Division, your prizes will be delivered to the Graduate games on Monday night and distributed by Lynne Mason. For winners in the other divisions, your prizes will be available through the canteen staff at St. Francis of Assisi. Our thanks to everyone that donated prizes and that bought tickets to support another sellout that brought $1000 to the league for use in buying equipment and uniforms. Last night we received the totals from our Dine and Make a Difference event at East Side Mario’s on Weller Avenue at Division Street. The total based on restaurant sales is an AMAZING $811.55, and with the personal donations made to us during the event that swells to a grand total of $886.55!!! Our thanks to the Saunders family for sponsoring this event, to the servers and kitchen staff for their professionalism and hard work all day, and to you, our league families and supporters that came out to truly make a difference in our players lives. Remember this restaurant and our other supporters when you are deciding where to go for lunch or dinner.

Our thanks to the St. Lawrence College leadership, players, coaches and students for inviting us to the grand opening of their new gym last night, and for welcoming our basketball league families into the new home of the Vikings. Even though the games did not have the desired outcome, both were exciting in different ways and the facility is beautiful!
