Just For The Fun Of It

This Saturday, November 2, the RCHA Club will be hosting an evening of music from the band Hat Trick in support of our league. All proceeds from ticket sales will come back to the Pete Petersen Basketball League. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased through the RCHA Brigade Association by calling to use a credit card, or by stopping in at the club. The show goes from 8-11 and you will enjoy music from the British Invasion plus lots of songs you will know by heart.

The results from our annual Dine and Make a Difference Event at Five Guys Burgers and Fries on Gardiners Road are in and we tied our previous high for money raised at this event!

In total, 399 burgers, 57 poutine and 113 milkshakes were sold during the event, bringing $569 into the league from Five Guys. Add in the $100 of donations given to us that evening and our total jumps to $669.

Our thanks to you , the league supporters, the staff at the Gardiners Road restaurant for the great job they did welcoming us and serving up some great food, and to the Five Guys leadership at the local and corporate level for believing in what we do for the children in our community. All of you are difference makers for our players and their families.
