On Saturday February 2, 2013 the Knights of Columbus Council 728 will be holding their free throw competition at Ecole Cathedrale (Corner of Barrie & Johnson Streets). This is not a league sanctioned event, and is open boys and girls ages 7-14 as of January 1, 2013. Doors to the school will open at 9:30 am and registration for the event will be at 10 am.

Due to the approaching bad weather the school board has requested that all evening activities in the schools be cancelled tonight. As a result, the games in the Little Guys Division are cancelled. Please share this message with others in the division so that no one is put at risk tonight.

We are very sad to report that Trinity VanHeddegem, a player for the Golden Gals in our Little Gals Division, died last weekend. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family as they try to deal with the loss of such a light in their lives. At the Little Gals games on Thursday January 24 we will have a basketball that the players can sign if they so choose, and that ball will be presented to the family.
