Queen’s Basketball Offer

Queen’s University Athletics is offering two free tickets per household to either of their games this weekend to members of our league. Friday they play against the Carleton Ravens and Saturday they play the Ottawa Gee Gees. Both games have playoff implications for the Gaels, and it will be a chance for you to see former players from our program in action for both the men’s and women’s teams. Frontenacs Ticket Offered Extended

The Kingston Frontenacs have agreed to extend the deadline for purchasing tickets to their game against the Oshawa Generals on February 13 to Monday February 9 to give everyone the weekend to order. Queen’s March Break Camps

QUEEN’S MARCH BREAK CAMP MARCH 16 – 20 REGISTRATION NOW OPEN!

Keep the kids entertained and active while they are out of school over March Break. Each year Queen’s Q-Camps offer week-long and single-day camp options. Camp Options:

Little Explorers [ Week: $225 ]
This is the perfect camp for adventurous kids! This co-ed camp for children aged 4 – 6 will offer your child a chance to meet new friends, play new games, try new crafts and explore new activities. NO free swim.

Active FUNdamental Camp [ Week: $205 | Day: $50 ]
Learn the FUNdamentals and basic movements for running, throwing, and catching in a fun, non-competitive, sport environment. Alongside our sports and games, this co-ed camp for children aged 5 – 7 also includes a daily free swim session.

Sports Camp [ Week: $205 | Day: $50 ]
This is an active camp for ages 8-13 where your child will have the opportunity to learn and play a variety of different sports and games which may include wheelchair basketball, volleyball, dodgeball, handball and more! It is a co-ed camp where the focus will be on learning rules, fundamental skills, game play and having fun! This camp also includes a daily free swim session.

Indoor Field Sports Camp [ Week: $215 ]
This is an active camp for ages 8-13 where your child will have the opportunity to learn and play a variety of different indoor field sports including lacrosse, ultimate, flag football, soccer, floor ball and more! It is a co-ed camp where the focus will be on learning rules, fundamental skills, game play and having fun! This camp also includes a daily free swim session.

March Mayhem Boys Basketball Camp (Grade 5-8) [ Week: $205 ]
Designed for boys in grades 5-8. This camp is weekdays from 8:30am – 4:30pm. Instructed by Queen’s Men’s Basketball staff and current athletes, this camp will emphasize fundamentals, skills and drills to build a solid foundation of basketball mechanics. After instructional sessions participants will take part in specialty drills and scrimmages.

March Mayhem Boys Basketball Camp (Grade 9-12) [ Week: $100 ]
Designed for boys in grades 9-12. This camp is weekday evenings from 7pm – 9pm. Instructed by the Queen’s Men’s Basketball Assistant Coach and current athletes, this elite level boys camp will help players improve their game and prepare for the next level. After instructional sessions participants will take part in specialty drills and scrimmages.
