What a great opportunity to support a local business that makes a difference in our community, enjoy some GREAT food, AND help support our basketball program at the same time. A FEEL GOOD TRIFECTA!!! Mark your calendars, and we will remind you a lot between now and November 9. See the posters at the gym, or on our Facebook page and on Twitter.

Last year the Sunday afternoon regulars from the Pilot House made a significant donation to our program, and we want to thank Troy Gadbois for suggesting this partnership for November 9.

We ask that you remember the generosity of the Pilot House when you are looking for a place to enjoy a great meal, or just a place to relax in a friendly neighbourhood pub. They live up to their slogan every day.

THANK YOU ST. LAWRENCE COLLEGE

Last night St. Lawrence again hosted their Community BBQ to launch the season for the Men’s and Women’s basketball teams and our league family was attending in full throated support in record numbers in spite of the weather! The Vikings won both of their games in exciting fashion and the BBQ sold out too. Our thanks to Glenn Vollebregt, Denita Arthurs and Charlie Mignault for making the event happen, and to the league volunteers that helped crew the food tent throughout the evening. What a great event!

St. Lawrence College is a great supporter of our program and this was a great opportunity for our players and their families to get to see how exciting the Vikings brand of basketball can be. We will post the upcoming games for the teams here and on our web site so you can continue to follow the team this season.

THANK YOU SLC!!
