Normally we have our mid season newsletter out before we have to deal with winter weather situations. Here is how we approach the issue of winter weather cancellations.

In the event that winter weather conditions make it unrealistic to safely get to the gyms for games, the division convenors will make the decision to cancel the games as early in the day as possible. That decision will then be communicated on Facebook, the web site and our twitter pages. Coaches will then be notified and players contacted. If the school board cancelled all evening activity at the schools we will cancel using the above protocols. We will announce CANCELLATIONS, not if the games are being played. Today will be an exception to that rule.

The weather conditions vary in different parts of the community, so we ask that each family make the decision whether or not to attend games based on the conditions at your home.

For tonight, Monday November 21, the games are being played as scheduled.

Our thanks to the players parents and volunteers that came out to the gym on Sunday for our annual Two Ball Tournament. There were some very spirited matches, close scores and competing strategies on display throughout the day. Chris spinning the music, Pat and Rick verifying the scores, and Lynne, Stephanie and Sean on the registration table along with managing the draws made for a smooth day of fun basketball.
