Happy Thanksgiving Weekend! As we gather together this weekend with family and friends we thought it would be good to remind everyone about upcoming events with the Pete Petersen Basketball League in the coming weeks.
Five Guys Dine and Make a Difference Event: this Wednesday, October 16 from 5-8:30 pm Five Guys Burgers and Fries on Gardiners Road will be donating $1 from every Burger, Poutine and Milkshake sold back to our program. This has been a years long partnership, and it is always a fun time with great food too.
T shirt Sales: This is the last week to buy or order the special limited edition 70th Anniversary collection of t shirts. One more night in each division with sales ending Monday October 21st at the Graduate Division games. Don’t procrastinate! As you look around the table this weekend think about the sizes you might like to order for current or former players in your family.
RCHA Club Event: On Saturday November 2 the RCHA Brigade Association will once again be sponsoring a night of music by the band Hat Trick at the RCHA Club on Ontario Street. This has been a great event to get together with family and friends and enjoy the music of Michael K Meyers, Dan Charbonneau and Mark Ready. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased through Roland Billings or the RCHA Club Kingston – The Royal Canadian Horse Artillery Brigade Association.
Disco Fever!- On Saturday November 16 make your plans to attend a night of Disco music at the Italo Canadian Club from 8-midnight. Dig out your best bell bottoms or your white suit, listen ton the Saturday Night Fever sound track or watch the movie again. This has been a fun event in the past and this year will be no different. Tickets are $55 and available through EventBrite.
