Our annual Two Ball Tournament will be held on Sunday November 19 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic school, with the doors opening at 10:30. There is no charge to participate in this event.
Here is how it works:
1)There will be five tournaments, one for each Division in the league.
2) You enter a team of two players from within your division. Only registered players from the league may participate. If you want to participate but don’t know someone to team with, fill out a registration form on game nights this week, or come to the event Sunday and fill one out then. We will pair you with someone then.
3)Mats with different point values are placed on the floor at opposite ends of the gym, and we will play music for one minute. At the end of that one minute, the team with the most points will advance in the tournament.
4) There are two simple rules – you must alternate shots within the team, and you cannot shoot from the same spot on the floor twice in a row as a player or as a team.
We will have the tournaments for the Little Guys and Little Gals Divisions first, then raise the nets and have the tournaments for the Biddy, Girls and Graduate Divisions next. We will need players for the older groups at the school no later than noon please so we can confirm who is there and set the draws.
The Graduate Division had a demonstration last week for how the games work, and this week at half time we will do demonstrations for the other four divisions.
This is a fun event for everyone.
