St. Joseph’s Parish Donation

Last week we received a very substantial donation from St. Joseph’s Parish to the league in memory of Don “Pete” Petersen, to honour the work that he did for so many years to support the youth of Kingston. When Father Joe Lynch retired in August, he asked the parish finance committee to think of some way to honour Don Petersen’s memory, and acknowledge the incredible work that he did with Kingston’s youth over so many years. This donation is a result of that request from Father Lynch.

Our thanks to the parish and Father Lynch for believing in what we continue to do to keep Don’s dream alive, by supplying a safe and affordable place for the children in our community to learn the value of being on a team, and learning how much fun the game can be.
