It is with mixed emotions that I write this post. Stephanie Charlton, a former player , long time super volunteer and dedicated part of the Biddy Division team making Monday nights in the league possible, will be leaving KIngston to continue the next, and hopefully best, part of her life in the Peterborough area. All of us are happy for Steph, but I also know that she was a great help and personal support for all that we did in the league. She was always willing to help with registration, the two ball tournament, filling in at the canteen or on merchandise sales and with banquet duties every year, and for that she will be missed. Jackie Robinson wrote “A life is not important except in the impact it has on other lives.” Stephanie has certainly had a positive impact on the players and the other volunteers in our league that she has worked with. Please join me in wishing her well.
