We recieved word late yesterday from Troy Gadbois about the results of the Dine and Make a Difference Fund Raising Event at The Pilot House November 9. $223 was donated by customers and staff throughout the day, $148 was donated through the $1 from every meal sold, and the owners have agreed to “top up” the donation to $500 for the league!!
Thank you to all of the people that participated in supporting this event, and a HUGE THANK YOU to the owners and staff for their friendly support throughout the day, for suggesting the event, promoting the event, but most of all for believing in what we are doing with the league.
The Pilot House describes themselves as “Your friendly Neighbourhood Pub”. They are all of that and so much more in their commitment to the community. Remember them when you want GREAT fish and chips, or when you just want a friendly place to relax.
