By my quick count, Saturday September 12 is a mere 54 days away! That is the date for registration for the 2015-16 season of the “Pete” Petersen Basketball League. In the weeks ahead we will be sending out reminders, and we intend to advertise again in the Kingston Whig Standard Fall Activity Guide as well. Here are the details:
Registration Date: Saturday September 12, 2015
Location: St. Patrick School, 158 Patrick Street
Time: 9-10:30 am.
Cost for the season: $10 (cash, or cheques made payable to the “Pete” Petersen Basketball League)
Boys- 8-15; Girls 8-14
All ages are the age that the player will be on April 1, 2016
No Pre-registration
Divisional breakdown for this season:
Little Guys Division: Boys 8-10 – Tuesday nights at St. Pat’s
Biddy Division: Boys 11-12 – Monday nights at St. Pat’s
Graduate Division: Boys 13-15 – Monday nights at Ecole Cathedrale
Little Gals Division: Girls 8-10 – Thursday nights at St. Pat’s
Girls Division: Girls 11-14 – Wednesday nights at St. Pat’s
FAQ #1: We are often asked by parents what they should do if they are going to be away for registration. Another friend or relative can register your child and you will then need to sign the permission form before the child can participate. Please do not ask members of our league executive to register your children for you. We have many jobs that need our full attention on registration day and we will have to tell you no when you ask.
