We received this notification from Lori Bark yesterday. Lori is the mother of Tyler, a former player in our program, and he is organizing a fund raising event at the Queen’s main gym on June 6. Here is what was sent to us. As with other events of this type, I need to say that this is not a Knights of Columbus Basketball League event.
KOFC KINGSTON WE NEED YOUR HELP~~~My son Tyler who played for the KOFC is putting on a event to help a family in need ….~~~SAVE THE DATE ~~~MONDAY JUNE 8TH @6;00 AT QUEENS IN THE BIG SUNKEN IN GYM AT THE ARC~~~WE WILL BE HOLDING A FUNDRAISER BASKETBALL GAME~STUDENTS AGAINST QECVI STAFF AND ALUMNI ~THE COST TO PLAY IS $20.00 AND $3.00 TO WATCH OR A FAMILY PASS OF $10.00 . THIS FUNDRAISER IS TO HELP OFFSET MEDICAL COSTS FOR MRS.BELFERS FAMILY AS THEY ARE TAKING HER SON TO NORTH CAROLINA FOR MEDICAL TREATMENT WHICH IS NOT COVERED BY OHIP ….THERE WILL BE 15 SPOTS FOR PLAYERS AND 15 SPOTS FOR ALUMNI AND OR TEACHERS….PLEASE COME OUT AND SUPPORT MRS.BELFERS FAMILY AS SHE SUPPORTS ALL OF OUR KIDS~~~
