On Friday, July 5 the league held its annual fund raising golf tournament at the Inverary Golf and Country Club. It was a beautifully sunny day that saw 55 golfers taking part in the event that raised $2375 for the league. Special thanks go out to event organizers Rick and Heather Hollywood for collecting prizes and for keeping the event part of our annual fund raising activities. Events like this do not happen without the support of many businesses in the community, along with the donors that gave us prizes but wish to remain anonymous. Here is a list of the businesses that helped out with prizes for the tournament. Each of us as consumers makes choices when we shop. We ask that you remember these local businesses as you make those choices.
