Knights of Columbus Basketball Week Kicks Off

Monday November 3 saw the kickoff of Knights of Columbus Basketball League Week in the City of Kingston with a visit to the St. Pat’s gym by Mayor Mark Gerretsen and the Kingston Town Crier Chris Whyman. Chris read the proclamation is his usual high spirited fashion, and Mayor Gerretsen read a Congratulatory message on behalf of the citizens of the city that read ” On behalf of the citizens of Kingston, it is a privilege to extend congratulations to the Knights of Columbus Basketball League on the occasion of your 60th Anniversary. The “league that Pete built” continues to grow, making positive and lasting impacts in the lives of youth across Kingston. Thank you for your commitment to building better players and strong community members.”
St.Lawrence College was the sponsor for “Pete’s Best Seat In The House” and the photos below show some of the winners from last night. Our thanks to Herb Stacey and Charlie Mignault from SLC for their support. Our thanks too go out to Tata’s Pizza for their generous donations of a pizza a night this week for our anniversary celebrations.
